How are orders shipped?
HOW ARE ORDERS SHIPPED?
All of our sockeye salmon is shipped frozen to preserve peak quality and freshness.
Each order is carefully packed in an insulated box with cold packs and shipped via 2–3 day expedited delivery to ensure it arrives in the condition it should.
Your salmon should arrive frozen or very cold to the touch. If the edges are slightly soft but the fish is still cold, it is perfectly safe to refreeze with no loss in quality.
We ship our orders on Tuesdays to avoid delays and ensure your order arrives safely by the end of the week.

Why is shipping so expensive?
Shipping frozen seafood requires insulated packaging and expedited delivery to ensure your salmon arrives cold, safe, and ready for your freezer.
We use 2–3 day expedited shipping along with insulated boxes designed to maintain temperature from our door to yours—making sure your product stays nice and cold.
Spend $299+ and receive reduced* $39 cold shipping — designed for larger, more efficient deliveries.
*Reduced shipping applies to most U.S. locations. Rates may vary by region and are calculated at checkout.

Why not buy "regular" salmon...it's cheaper.
Most supermarket salmon is farm-raised—grown in large ocean pens for consistency and year-round supply.
These fish are raised in dense environments and fed a controlled diet. Because they don’t eat a natural wild diet, the pigment that gives salmon its red color is added to their feed. In many operations, treatments are used to manage disease in crowded conditions.
The result is a product built for efficiency—not quality.
Our sockeye is different.
Wild-caught in Bristol Bay, Alaska—one of the last truly intact salmon ecosystems in the world.
Handled in small batches from the moment it leaves the water. -
How does pricing work?
We price all of our salmon by the pound. When you order a certain weight—for example, 10 pounds—you will always receive at least that amount, and usually a bit more. Every fish is different in size, so the final weight often ends up slightly over what you paid for.
For our mixed boxes, we list the number of pieces you can expect. While piece sizes vary, we always make sure your box meets or exceeds the advertised total weight.
In short: you’ll never get less than what you paid for—and most orders arrive with a little extra.
